KIMATHANKA, June 7: The first convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Sankhuwasabha elected Bhakta Narayan Shrestha as the district chair.
The new district executive committee headed by Shrestha was elected unanimously. Shrestha is also the RSP founding president in the district.

The new executive committee elects Suman Dangi as vice-president, Sunil Shrestha as secretary and Santosh Basnet as joint-secretary. Likewise, Hem Kumar Rai, Gobardhan Rai, Jayaram Adhikari, Kesang Lama and Buddhiman Gurung are the committee members.
