Gold price up by Rs 200 per tola, silver drops by Rs 5

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 200 on Sunday to Rs 238,600 per tola. On Friday, it was traded at Rs 238,400 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Gold prices increased while silver saw a slight decline on the first trading day of the week.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 200 on Sunday to Rs 238,600 per tola. On Friday, it was traded at Rs 238,400 per tola.

Silver, however, fell by Rs 5 and is now being traded at Rs 3,015 per tola, down from Rs 3,020 on Friday.


In the international market, gold was recorded at USD 4,001.21 per ounce, with a daily gain of USD 17.61. Silver stood at USD 48.3 per ounce.
