KATHMANDU, March 19: The prices of gold and silver have fallen in the local market today (Thursday). Gold decreased by Rs 5,400 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs 140 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmarked gold is now Rs 302,300 per tola, and silver is Rs 5,010 per tola. On Wednesday, hallmarked gold was priced at Rs 307,700 per tola and silver at Rs 5,150 per tola, the federation reported.
In the international market, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,900 and silver at USD 77 per ounce.
