KATHMANDU, July 2: Gold prices surged in the domestic market on Thursday, rising by Rs 6,200 per tola in a single day.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is being traded at Rs 283,500 per tola on Thursday, up from Rs 277,300 per tola on Wednesday.
Silver prices also increased on Thursday. Silver gained Rs 180 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,450 per tola, according to FENEGOSIDA.
