KANCHANPUR, June 20: Bheemdatta Municipality of Kanchanpur district has announced a 12-day holiday for community and institutional schools within the locality due to rising temperatures.

According to Chief Administrative Officer Mahesh Bahadur Bam, the local government decided to close schools for 12 days starting June 22. The holiday will be adjusted within the school's annual vacation calendar.
In recent days, rising temperatures have made it difficult for students to attend school. The municipality said the decision was taken considering students' health and safety.
