Seventh Music Khabar Musical Award was held at Birendra Sabhagriha, Biratnagar, on Friday. The music award was organized by Music Khabar, in association with Hami Yuba. Singer Shiva Pariyar won the award for the Best Modern Male Singer for his song ‘Barshaun Bho Chadeko’. Likewise, Prashna Shakya won the Best Modern Female Singer for her song ‘Kaidi Banau’, stated a press statement released by Music Khabar.

In the award function, veteran musician Sambhujit Baskota was conferred the ‘Birat Sangitratna’ title. A total of 44 personals who dedicated their life to music were awarded different awards in the event.
Musical personalities including Promod Kharel, Rajesh Payal Rai, Shanker Thapa, Kamal Shrestha were present in the event.
