KATHMANDU, Dec 13: All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) close to CPN-UML organized a rally against the government’s decision to bring controversial ordinance for the release of the advisor to Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), Resham Chaudhary and Mohammad Aftab Alam of Nepali Congress.

The student union chanted slogans and displayed ply-cards demanding the withdrawal of the Code of Criminal Procedure (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2079 BS submitted to the President.
According to the student union, the government's decision to introduce the Ordinance is the beginning of a dirty game of selfish power-centered politics, when the first meeting of the new parliament is expected to be held in the next few weeks.
