HUMLA, June 18: At least 15 people have gone missing as a jeep plunged into Karnali River in Kharpunath rural municipality-5 of Humla district on Tuesday afternoon.

Assistant Chief District Officer of Humla, Mahesh Kumar Pokhrel, told Republica Online that the jeep (Lu 1 Ka 7166) skidded off the road at Belrukh area and plunged into Karnali River at around 12:45 pm.
