KATHMANDU, April 9: Candidates of Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML have registered their nominations for the post of National Assembly vice-chairperson.
Bishnu Devi Pudasaini of NC and Bimala Ghimire of CPN-UML have registered their candidatures. The election will be held on Wednesday.

After registering their candidacies, both candidates said that they will play a role in making the dignity of the National Assembly even higher.
Ghimire, who is ahead in terms of numbers in the National Assembly, said that if she is elected, she will consult with the Chairperson of the National Assembly and play an effective role in advancing the bills.
Similarly, NC candidate Pudasaini said that she is confident that she will win the election because everyone loves her.
