HETAUDA, July 31: Cadres of Netra-Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal torched two vehicles in Makawanpur on Tuesday night as part of a nation-wide banda called by the group.

A car (Ba 14 Cha 8234) and a truck (Ba 5 Kha 1739) were destroyed completely by the fire, said Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Singh. Likewise, a bomb disposal team of Nepal Army defused suspicious materials planted in some parts of Makawanpur district, said the police.
