Demonstration staged in capital in support of Dr KC (photo feature)

KATHMANDU, July 7: A demonstraiton has been held in the capital in suport of Seninor Surgeon Dr Govinda KC who is staging a fast-unto-death demanding reforms in medical sector in Jumla since last eight days.

The demonstration which began at Maitighar Mandala passed through Bijuli Bazaar and converged into a corner meeting at New Baneshwar.

Speaking at the meeting, Advocate Om Prakash Aryal said that he is smelling a rat on the medical  ordinance and stressed that the reforms in the medical sector should be made in line with the Mathema Commission’s report.

Legal practioners, medical persons and general people holding playcards took part in the demonstration to pile pressure on the government to address the demands raised by KC immediately.

Meanwhile, Aryal has also accused Prime Minister of aligning with the medical mafia, rather than seeking ways to address KC’s demands.
