DANG, Oct 2: A man has succumbed to the dengue infection at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi, Dang.

Nishan Bhattarai, the information officer for the Academy, confirmed that 51-year-old Yagya Bahadur Dangi, hailing from Rolpa's Madi Rural Municipality-2, Gharti Gaun, died of the disease. Dangi, who had been suffering from health issues for some time, was admitted to the Academy for treatment on Sunday evening.
Information Officer Bhattarai said that Dangi passed away during the course of treatment this morning. He was a teacher at Shree Krishna Secondary School in Gharti Gaun.
