KATHMANDU, Feb 8: For the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election on March 5, the Election Commission (EC) plans to send nine types of election materials directly from the central office. An additional 37 types of materials will be managed at the district level, according to Assistant Spokesperson Prakash Neupane.
The materials sent from the EC to each polling area include security seals for training and polling centers, barriers, non-erasable ink markers, stamp pads, ink for the pads, two types of swastika stamps, and ballot box stickers.

At the district level, materials to be managed include sealing boxes, schedule forms, push pins, diaries (for poll book use), marker pens, scales, stapler machines, stapler pins, scissors, glue sticks, counters (counting dumpers), punching machines, ID card holders, inner and outer cards, male and female cards, voter serial numbers, polling center cards, plastic bags, sacks, ropes, and packing tape.
Additionally, the list includes Nepali paper envelopes (10x15 inches), fabric envelopes for ballot papers, 30 sheets of white A4 paper, record files with binding, threads, needles, clamps, felt cloth, needles, plain cloth (two-meter pieces), black and red gel pens, and packs of four candles. These items will be fully arranged and distributed at the district level for election use.
