A dairy shop of Tanka Prasad Parajuli, mobile phone shop of Dipendra Khanal, textile shop of Mira Bhandari and fancy clothes shop of Sabina Limbu were gutted in the fire, police said.
According to police, a total of Rs 2.3 million properties were gutted. The dairy shop suffered the highest amount of loss of Rs one million.
The fire engines from Bhaktapur and Kathmandu brought the fire under control. RSS
