KATHMANDU, July 2: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has formally submitted a request to the Ministry of Home Affairs to relinquish her state-provided privileges and services.

Bhandari’s decision comes shortly after she officially announced her return to active politics through the CPN-UML last Saturday. Her move to give up the government-provided facilities follows public scrutiny and aligns with her re-entry into partisan political life.
