SARLAHI, Oct 1: Four persons died after being buried in a mudslide at Haripuwa in Sarlahi district this morning.
The deceased have been identified as Sayada Khatun, 65, six-year-old Sabiba Khatun, eight-year-old Dillu Mansur and nine-year-old Nargis Khatun of Sonama rural municipality-6 in Mahottari district, according to Assistant Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Balinthar Singh.

The incident occurred when they went to the bank of the Hardi Stream at Haripuwa Municipality-1 to extract mud.
Locals had rescued them immediately after the incident and rushed them to Provincial Hospital, Malangawa, where the doctors declared them dead, added Singh.
