GANDAKI, April 1: The Gandaki Province Assembly passed the Public Health Bill unanimously. The Assembly meeting held on Tuesday passed the bill.
The bill along with a report of the social development and agriculture committee under the Assembly was presented in the provincial assembly meeting. Earlier, it was sent to the committee for clause-wise discussion on April 4, 2025.
Gandaki Province passes appropriation bill with majority votes
Province Assembly members including Dil Maya Pauwi, Kusum Budha Pun and Debaka Pahad Tripathi took part in the deliberation on the bill.
Minister for Health Krishna Prasad Pathak had presented the bill in the assembly meeting.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey admitted that they could not bring a new bill during the winter session for lack of time. He pledged the province government was committed to good governance, transparency, corruption control and frugality.
