Gold, silver prices climb in Nepali market

In the international market, gold was trading at USD 4,552 per ounce, reflecting ongoing global demand.

KATHMANDU, March 31: Gold and silver prices edged higher in the Nepali market on Tuesday. 



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold, which had fallen Rs 2,500 per tola on Monday, surged by Rs 6,700 per tola on Tuesday, reaching Rs 290,200 per tola. On Monday, gold had been traded at Rs 283,500 per tola.

Silver also gained, rising Rs 145 per tola to Rs 4,845 per tola, up from Rs 4,700 per tola on Monday, the FENEGOSIDA reported.
