KATHMANDU, Aug 22: The government and the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizen Protection Campaign led by Durga Prasai have reached a 14-point agreement.
Following the agreement, the Prasai-led campaign has decided to suspend all its protest and sit-in programs.

The agreement was signed after intensive negotiations between representatives of the campaign, who had entered Kathmandu Valley and staged a sit-in at Pulchowk, Lalitpur, and the government’s dialogue team.
Liladhar Subedi, joint secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and coordinator of the government’s dialogue team, signed the agreement on behalf of the government. Bishnu Bohora Chhetri, coordinator of the campaign’s dialogue committee, signed it on behalf of the campaign.
