KATHMANDU, May 28: Israel has announced the recruitment of 2,300 Nepali workers to serve as assistant caregivers in long-term care centers, opening new employment opportunities under a bilateral labor agreement between the two countries.
The Department of Foreign Employment issued the call for applications on Wednesday, inviting eligible candidates through its online portal.

Of the total positions, 60 percent will be allocated to women and 40 percent to men, according to the department.
Selected workers will be engaged in providing care and support to elderly individuals and people with disabilities in Israel’s long-term care facilities.
They will receive a minimum monthly salary of 5,881.50 Israeli shekels, as per the agreement.
Interested applicants can apply until 21 June through the department’s official online system.
