MORANG, March 17: Property worth Rs 400,000 was gutted when a fire engulfed the jewellery shop of Brijalal Saha of Sunbarsi municipality-9, Diniya Bazaar, on Friday evening.

The loss amounting to Rs 445,000 incurred with the fire that broke out from gas cylinder leakage destroying cash Rs 50,000 along with three tolas of gold jewellery and 30 pieces of silver.
The fire was doused with the help of police and locals, said Area Police Office, Rangeli.(RSS)
