SURKHET, Nov 7: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, met with an accident on Saturday.

CM Shahi, who was on a visit to Humla in the province, fell off the horse which he was riding. He was on his way to a hydro power project in the district headquarters, Simikot for the inspection of ongoing construction.
According to the officials, Shahi suffered bruises on his head. He is being taken to Surkhet for further treatment via a Sita Air helicopter on Saturday itself.
