KMC prepares DPR of 84 projects worth  Rs 1.06 billion

The City Planning Commission of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has so far prepared a Detailed Project Report (DPR) of 84 projects in the current fiscal year.

KATHMANDU, Dec 28: The City Planning Commission of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has so far prepared a Detailed Project Report (DPR) of 84 projects in the current fiscal year. 



It includes 37 related to heritage, 13 related to greenery and park construction, and 33 related to infrastructure. The cost of projects is estimated to be around Rs 1.06 billion, Commission's secretariat chief Dhana Bahadur Basnet said.

The KMC has called its 16th meeting of the municipal assembly for December 29. Reviewing the approved programme for the current fiscal year, the budget formulation committee has intensified discussion on new programmes to replace old ones that are hard to implement owing to various reasons.
