KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Police have arrested a man who attempted to stab a police officer on duty in Dhangadhi, Kailali.
The arrested individual has been identified as Tek Tamata, 36, a resident of Fulbari of Dangadhi Sub Metropolitan City-14.

Tamata, who was drunk, attempted to assault an on-duty police officer with a knife while causing a disturbance on the road at the Traffic Chowk of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City on Thursday evening.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the accused has been arrested and an investigation has been initiated against him. Police have recovered a knife from his possession.
