BHAKTAPUR, Nov 11: Minister for Health and Population, Dr Sudha Gautam, has vowed to resolve the problems witnessed in the health insurance arena.
Inaugurating the 31st anniversary celebration of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital and its laboratory building amidst a programme here on Monday, Minister Gautam reminded that the constitution had ensured the right to health for free of cost to citizens, so the government was devoted to materializing it.

The local governments need to provide the medicines from the basic hospitals, health posts and the health institutions for free of cost, she said, adding that the federal government has managed a conditional grant for it.
On a different note, Minister Gautam said the government was engrossed in holding the election to the House of Representatives as per the mandate it has received. Its major responsibility is to hold the March 5 election in a free and fair atmosphere at any cost, she added.
However, the Minister sought cooperation from all sides to convince the voters in the election.
Other speakers in the program underlined the need to make the service further effective at the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
