LAHAN, July 16: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply Matrika Yadav directed the district-based office chiefs to collaborate on rescue and relief operations in the aftermath of natural disaster that has affected various parts of the district.
He gave this instruction in the course of inspecting the flood-hit areas in the district on Tuesday. Huge loss of lives and damage to property was caused by floods triggered by the incessant rainfall since Friday.

Minister also urged all locals to stay alert as there is still a possibility of a similar disaster triggered by torrential rain in the district.
Minister Yadav also asked the district health office to mobilize the medical teams in the worst-hit areas.
