Meanwhile, the Nepali Army has constructed a temporary bridge over the Pheme river in Phidim Municipality of Panchthar district.
Following the recent heavy rainfall, the water level in the Pheme River, which borders Wards No. 1 and 11 of Phidim Municipality in Panchthar, rose significantly, destroying the bridge.
Additionally, the flood damaged the hume pipe and diversion on the Phidim–Falte road section, prompting the army, deployed from the Shree Birdal Battalion, to build another temporary bridge to assist with travel, according to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
