KATHMANDU, May 28: The National Assembly under the Federal Parliament has passed the policy and program presented by the government for the coming Fiscal Year 2022/23 by a majority vote.
A meeting of the National Assembly on Friday passed the policy and program presented by the government for the coming year by a majority vote. Speaking at the meeting, National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina announced that the policy and program for the coming fiscal year presented by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on May 24 on behalf of the government has been passed by a majority.

He said, "I declare that the policy and program of the Government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2079/080 mentioned in the address presented by the President in the sitting of both the Houses of the Federal Parliament on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 has been passed by a majority."
The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on May 29 at 3PM.
