Nepalese envoy to Russia submits credential to Putin

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: Nepali ambassador to Russian Federation Ravi Mohan Sapkota presented his Letter of Credence to Russian President Vladimir V. Putin at a special ceremony held in Kremlin on Wednesday.



According to a press release issued by Embassy of Nepal in Moscow, Ambassador Sapkota conveyed cordial greetings and best wishes from President Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai as well as the people of Nepal for the personal health of the Russian president as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Russia after submitting his credentials.[break]



Expressing high appreciation for valuable cooperation for decades in Nepal’s socio-economic development, Ambassador Sapkota stressed on the need to strengthening the relations on trade, business and investment areas, the statement reads.
