KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is currently a partial influence of westerly winds in Nepal.
According to the MFD, the weather will be generally clear in the country, with partly cloudy skies this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
Partly cloudy skies likely across Nepal this afternoon
The officials of the MFD have said that the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and generally clear in the rest of the country tonight.
Moreover, MFD officials have requested the general public to avoid possible risks as there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country and light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
