TAPLEJUNG, March 21: The Pathibhara Temple area in Taplejung has experienced snowfall. According to Rajendra Mahat, an employee of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, snow fell along with rain starting Friday evening.

Mahat said the weather in the Pathibhara area had been overcast for several days. With today’s snowfall, Pathibhara has received snow five times this year. The snow has drawn crowds of visitors to the temple. People from nearby areas have also come to Pathibhara, not only to visit the temple but also to enjoy playing in the snow.
The snowfall has brought colder temperatures across the district, and locals reported snow in the northern highlands as well.
