PM Deuba congratulates Nepali football team

Nepal advances to SAFF final after 1-1 draw against Bangladesh

KATHMANDU, Oct 14: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has congratulated Nepali football team for securing place for final in the SAFF Championship games being held in Male, the capital of the Maldives.



Nepal has played1-1 goal draw against Bangladesh on Wednesday to reach the SAFF championship final for the first time in the history.

Prime Minister Deuba took to the twitter to congratulate Nepali team on Wednesday evening. He has also extended best wishes to the team Nepal for future endeavour.


“I would like to congratulate all players, coach and officials of the Nepali football team to bring the country to SAFF football championship and also encourage for future successful inning”, Deuba wrote in his tweet.
