PM owns 2 ropanis land, Rs 1.1m in cash

KATHMANDU, Jan. 10: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai owns nearly two ropani land at Khoplang VDC in Gorkha district.



According to a property detail furnished at the Prime Minister´s Office, Prime Minister has deposited Rs 1.1 million in two separate accounts in Rastriya Banijya Bank, Bhotahiti Branch. [break]



The amount was received from Prime Minister´s salary and allowances, according a statement provided by the Ministry of Information and Communications.



The Prime Minister also owns some books and household assets. The value of the books and goods has not been fixed.



The Prime Minister has also stated that his wife Hisila Yami and daughter Manushi Yami Bhattarai each possess nearly equal portion of property to him.
