KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former minister Pradip Paudel has announced that he will contest for the post of general secretary in the party’s 15th General Convention.

Speaking during an interaction with journalists on Tuesday morning, Paudel said he would once again vie for the general secretary position. He recalled that he had contested the same post during the party’s 14th General Convention but was unsuccessful.
On the occasion, Paudel also stressed the need for the NC to complete its general convention and move forward with new leadership to participate in the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.
