Province No 1 Government to declare 'My Year 2075'

BIRATNAGAR, April 13: Province No. 1 is to conduct an awareness campaign for the promotion of health in the province around the slogan, 'Responsible for Health, Basis for Prosperity.' 

The campaign announced by the Ministry of Social Development is called 'My Year 2075 BS'. This campaign is a part of the national programme of the federal government.

The Ministry of Social Development made public an eight-point commitment in this connection here on Thursday. It stated that various programmes would be conducted for the declaration of the commitments. 

The campaign will be kicked off with the organisation of a yoga camp at local Paropakardham in the morning on April 14, the Nepali New Year's Day. A public awareness programme on public sanitation would be organised at Koshi Zonal Hospital Chowk, Chief of the Health Services Division at the Ministry, Gyan Bahadur Basnet, said. 

Province Chief Dr. Govinda Bahadur Tumbahang is scheduled to inaugurate the yoga camp, Minister for Social Development Jeevan Ghimire is to launch the environmental sanitation campaign and Province-1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai is to declare the 'My Year 2075' campaign on the New Year's Day. RSS
