Apart from the CPN-Maoist Center and UML, FSFN and Rastriya Janamorcha Party are also backing Pokharel. Of the 87 PA members, UML and Maoist Center has 41 and 20 members respectively, clearly giving a majority to Pokharel. In addition, support from FSFN and RJP will provide another six votes to Pokharel.
