Six million looted at Naxal

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: An unidentified gang looted six million rupees from a person in Naxal on Friday while heading to a bank to deposit the money.



Three persons who came on a motorcycle snatched away the bag containing money from Pawan Sariya´s domestic help, Abijit, holding the latter at gun-point.[break]



Abijit was reportedly preparing to go to a bank at Ganabahal to deposit the money. Eye witnesses said all three robbers fled the scene immediately after looting the money.



Man abducted



LAHAN: A sheep vendor has been abducted from near Kankalini temple at Bhardaha-1 Thursday. Madhu Pal, 43, of Harsahi-3, Sunsari was abducted by a group of six armed men from Bhardaha. Police said no group has claimed responsibility for abduction.
