KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Police have arrested six people from various parts of the country with illegal drugs on Sunday.
Ramesh Lama, 27, a resident of Thakre Rural Municipality-3, Dhading was arrested from Chandragiri Municipality-2, Nagdhunga, Kathmandu, with 1 kilogram of illegal marijuana, on Sunday morning.

Police deployed from the Nagdhunga Police Post and the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested him along with the marijuana while he was travelling in a bus (Ba 4 Kha 5232) heading to Kathmandu from Dhading.
Similarly, police arrested four people, including Arjun Rumba, 40, of Makwanpur Raksirang Rural Municipality-1, with about 21 kilograms of marijuana from Pathlaiya Chowk, Jeetpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City-1, Bara, on Sunday morning.
Police deployed from Pathlaiya Police Station arrested them along with the marijuana while they were travelling in a bus (Ba 4 Kha 7517) going from Narayanghat to Birgunj.
Additionally, Police deployed from the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, arrested Bishal Shrestha, 30, of Katari Chowk, Mirchaiya Municipality-6, Siraha with 1 gram 800 milligrams of a substance that appeared to be brown sugar on Sunday afternoon.
