The bus en route to New Buspark from Bhaktapur ran over the young girl when she was crossing the road.
Panta, a student of Pashupati Campus, died on the spot after the bus (Ba 4 Kha 5920) hit her, according to Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj. Following the incident, the enraged students torched the bus.
