MAKWANPUR, Dec 25: Police have arrested two people from Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-15 Ratomate on Friday morning along with 30.5 kg of cannabis.
The arrested are identified as Subodh Mandal, 34, of Dhanusha Nagarain Municipality-2 and Mukesh Raut Tharu, 39, of Parsa Paterwa Sugauli Municipality-3.

A joint police team deployed by the District Police Office, Makwanpur and Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar arrested the driver as well as another person when they found cannabis hidden under the seat of the vehicle they were travelling on.
According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, a necessary investigation is currently underway.
