BAGMATI, Aug 19: The Hetauda–Bhimphedi–Sisneri–Kathmandu road, connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu, has reopened this morning.
Vehicular movement along Jaya Prithvi Highway resumes
According to District Police Office Makwanpur Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal, the road fully reopened at 9:00 AM after clearing a dry landslide at Jamire located in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality–3, Makwanpur. The road had been blocked since Saturday morning due to landslides from above.
DSP Aryal said continuous efforts over the past two days to remove the landslide allowed the road to reopen. With the road now operational, travel between Hetauda and Kathmandu has become easier.
