KATHMANDU, April 14: Shram Sanskriti Party Chair and lawmaker Harka Raj Rai Sampang has said he owns no property in his name.
His statement comes after ministers began publicly disclosing their assets. Sampang said he would also make his property details public in a few days.

Taking to social media, he wrote that the ancestral property earned by his forefathers is registered in his mother’s name in Khotang, including sloped farmland, bamboo groves, and other plots. He added that even this property has not yet been divided among siblings.
“Nothing is in my name,” he said, adding that he may have 4–5 tola of gold earned from foreign employment and around Rs 200,000–400,000 in bank savings. “I will make it public. I have nothing in my name,” he reiterated.
