KATHMANDU, Sept 26: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has announced that a commission will be formed to investigate and make public the property details of all political leaders.
Addressing the party’s Central Committee meeting on Friday, Chairman Dahal stressed the need for leaders at all levels to adopt new working styles in managing families, secretariats and cadres. “We cannot continue in the old way. We must move forward with new procedures and approaches,” he said.

Chairman Dahal also emphasized transformation not only in organizational practices but also in personal lifestyle and cultural behavior. Dahal directed party leaders to submit written suggestions on ways to make leaders’ habits—from food and clothing to relations with the public—simpler and more people-oriented.
The party has also decided to transform its Central Committee into a General Convention Organizing Committee and take initiatives to hold the convention on the scheduled date.
