KATHMANDU, April 12: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) handled a total of 2,553 international flights in March, according to airport statistics.
Out of the total flights, 1,272 aircraft arrived in Nepal while 1,281 departed during the review month.

Data show that 374,788 passengers traveled through the airport in March. Among them, 182,103 passengers arrived in Nepal and 192,685 departed for international destinations.
In the first seven days of April, TIA saw a total of 676 international flights, including 337 arrivals and 339 departures. During the same period, 50,923 passengers arrived in Nepal while 51,717 left the country.
In comparison, TIA recorded 2,710 flights in March 2025, with a total of 424,522 passengers traveling through the airport.
Similarly, in February this year, 2,275 flights were recorded, carrying 373,534 passengers.
