KATHMANDU, March 4: Helicopter patrols will be carried out across the country during Thursday’s House of Representatives (HoR) election, authorities have said.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Central Security Committee held on Wednesday. According to Home Ministry Deputy Spokesperson Rama Acharya Subedi, helicopter patrols will be conducted in election constituencies nationwide.

In addition to Nepali Army helicopters, helicopters from private companies will also be mobilized for patrol duties. The committee has further decided to keep helicopters on standby to respond to any emergency.
