CHITWAN, May 26: Prof Dr Subir Singh has been appointed as the Registrar of the Agriculture and Forest University.
Prime Minister and Chancellor of the University, Balendra Shah, appointed him to the vacant post of Registrar on the recommendation of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Hom Bahadur Basnet.
What is missing in budget for agriculture?
Earlier, Chancellor Shah had appointed Basnet as the Vice-Chancellor until further notice.
Subsequently, Vice-Chancellor Basnet appointed the deans and directors of three faculties, including Prof Dr Sundar Tiwari as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Dr Shankar Raj Barsila as Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, and Fisheries.
Likewise, Dr Gandhiv Kafle has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Dr Ujjwal Tiwari as the Acting Director of the Directorate of Research and Extension, Dr Himal Luintel as the Director of the Biotechnology Center and Dr Anil Kumar Tiwari as the Director of the Curriculum Development Center.
