KATHMANDU, Dec 3: The government has appointed Deepak Shrestha, 46, from Gorkha, new Member Secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT).
Following the Cabinet nomination, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, who also oversees the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, directed the newly appointed Member Secretary to maintain utmost integrity while carrying out their responsibilities.
Call for managing security outside of LDT area
"With trust in you, the government has assigned you the responsibility, so act properly and honestly," she underlined. The PM also said that LDT is a religious institute, so one must be careful with integrity and morality.
On the occasion, Member Secretary Shrestha vowed to maintain diligence and honesty, thereby keeping intact LDT's image.
Shrestha has 17 years of experience in engineering, management and administration.
