KATHMANDU, April 1: Purna Basnet, a leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, has accused supporters of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) of exhibiting “wild” behavior on social media. Basnet claimed that RSP supporters have become anarchic and violent toward those with differing opinions.
He said, “There was a time when KP Sharma Oli, then chairman of CPN-UML, instructed his workers to act like lions and tigers. Today, RSP supporters are following such directions fully and literally.”
What to do when you see abusive behavior at work?
According to Basnet, RSP supporters frequently display intimidating and aggressive behavior reminiscent of wild animals across social media platforms.
He added sarcastically, “The policy may be UML’s, but the leadership and implementation are now RSP’s—how remarkable!”
