KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Sudurpaschim Royals defeated Kathmandu Gorkhas by 29 runs in the match of the second edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL) held on Monday.
With the allround performance of Harmeet Singh, the Sudurpaschim team won over Kathmandu Gorkhas, which was the first runner up of the NPL’s first edition. Singh showed off explosive 53 off just 20 balls, featuring two fours and six towering sixes.

The Sudurpaschim team through its first batting set a target of 147 runs. In response, the Kathmandu team packed up with all its wickets to secure only 118 runs in 16.5 overs
For the Kathmandu team, opener Aakash Tripathi hit the largest of 34 runs. Similarly, John Simpson scored 24 runs, Bhim Sarki 12 runs and Milind Kumar made 11 runs for the team.
