KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Nepal is to face Qatar in the match to be held today under the Super Six of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia & EAP Qualifier. The match is to be held in Al Amerat, Oman.
This is the second match of Nepal in the Super Six. In the first match held on Sunday, Nepal defeated the UAE by a slim margin of 1 run.

Nepal is currently in second place in the Super Six points table, with 4 points after earning 2 points from their last group match against Japan. They trail behind the host nation, Oman, which is in first place with the same number of points but a better run rate. The UAE holds the third position, followed by Japan, Samoa, and Qatar.
Nepal will face Oman on Wednesday, a match that could determine Nepal's chances of qualifying for next year’s World Cup. The top two teams from the six participating teams will qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in India and Sri Lanka from February to March 2026.
Today's match between Nepal and Qatar is scheduled to begin at 20:45 PM Nepali Standard Time. In the last three matches held between the two sides, Nepal has won two and Qatar has won one match.
